Garden to Table at Takanini School
We are looking to employ a kitchen and garden specialist to be part of the Garden To Table team at our school for our Y3-6 students.
What is Garden to Table?
The Garden to Table programme helps our school to build our students life skills through practical, hands-on classes in the school garden and kitchen. We want our students to get their hands dirty and learn how to grow, harvest, prepare and share fresh, seasonal and healthy food.
Who Participates in the Programme?
Our Y4-6 students will be getting involved in the garden and kitchen by attending regular gardening and cooking sessions each morning.
We are looking for a Kitchen Specialist and a Garden Specialist to lead our sessions with the support of the classroom teacher Could this be you? These two-part time roles are responsible for running the gardening and kitchen sessions.
